2. Information we handle
- Website and security data: IP address, browser/device information, requested pages, timestamps and security events may be processed in technical server logs.
- Wishlist data: selected products, quantities, notes and any optional name, email, phone or company details you add are stored in your browser. The website does not receive them merely because you create or download a wishlist.
- Enquiries: the contact form prepares a message in your own email application. It is not submitted to or stored by the website. If you send it, BretoHome receives and processes the details contained in your email.
- Administration data: authorised staff sign-in details and activity may be processed to protect and operate the private administration area.
- External media data: if you allow Google Maps, Google may receive your IP address, browser information, referrer and interaction data.
3. Why we use information
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Delivering the site, preventing abuse and keeping it secure | Legitimate interests in providing and protecting our service |
| Responding to product, showroom or project enquiries | Steps requested before a contract and legitimate interests in customer service |
| Keeping business correspondence and meeting legal duties | Legal obligations and legitimate interests |
| Loading Google Maps | Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time |
4. Who may receive data
We use service providers for website hosting, security and email. They process data only as needed to provide those services. Product images or links may also come from brand and content providers, which may receive ordinary request information such as your IP address. Google Maps is not loaded until you choose to allow external media.
Some providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers are protected by an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another lawful safeguard.
5. How long we keep it
Wishlist information remains on your device until you clear the wishlist or browser storage. Privacy choices are requested again after six months. Enquiry correspondence is kept only as long as needed to respond, manage the business relationship and meet accounting, legal or dispute-resolution obligations. Technical and security logs are retained for limited periods appropriate to their purpose.
6. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. To exercise a right, email sales@benestrom.com. We may need to verify your identity.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.
7. Children and changes
This catalogue is intended for a general audience and is not designed to collect children’s data. We may update this notice when the site or legal requirements change; the date above shows the latest version.
